Eddi is a professional bass player of German origin based in Bogotá, Colombia. He holds a degree in music educaction from the Dresden University of Music and a diploma from the Los Angeles Music Academy.As a freelance musician he is working with pop and rock artists like Juan Fernando Velasco, Julio Nava, Diana Ángel, Socarras, but he’s also doing jazz gigs frequently. He’s done live shows and recordings in Germany, Venezuela, the USA, Italy, Ecuador, Russia, Peru, Colombia.His method book “Garantiert Walking Bass” has been published in Europe by Alfred Publishing. It has turned into core literature in the German-speaking countries and has been cited as a source in wikipedia articles.His bass tutorials on YouTube have gained hundreds of thousands of views and thousands of subscribers from around the world.Eddi is coordinator of the bass department at the “Fernando Sor music school” as well as a teacher for harmony & theory at the “ENE Audio Institute”, both in Bogotá, Colombia.
