Justin Almazan is primarily a drummer, singer-songwriter, and learning sound engineer based in Pasadena, CA.He’s been behind the kit for 9+ years, playing in all realms of pop, rock, metal, and anything else with groove and feel. He also has about 6 years of live performing experience and is extremely adaptable to live playing situations. He has played with a few groups, playing both original and cover songs.His recent passions for songwriting and singing sprouted from wanting to be more than just a “one-trick pony”. He currently writes both acoustic and full-band music that is heavily influenced from his admiration for the simplicity and warmth of 60’s/70’s singer-songwriters like James Taylor, Carole King, and Jackson Browne.Along with his music performance/writing career, he is a learning sound engineer and producer. In addition to competent musicality, he generally has a very positive, optimistic, and problem-solving personality when it comes to working hard and getting things done.
