Bio

Lily Acatina is a creative Japanese singer and songwriter.
Born in Tokyo Japan, but grew up with American standard Jazz and Latin music because her parents love them. Took many kind of music lessons including piano, Opera, Jazz vocal and dance lessons, she gained the knowledge and vibes of variety kind of music. When she was freshman, she toured many places in U.S. as a member of a Hand bell choir at her high school, and she was really inspired by American culture and music, and got a dream to be an artist in U.S.. At the same time, she wrote a song for the Gospel choir at her high school, and this was the first time to write but good enough to make her want to express herself as an artist. After graduating high school, she went to 2 music colleges, one is in Japan and the other one is called Los Angeles College of Music in Pasadena CA, majored in vocal and developed singing techniques, skills of performance and songwriting in multiple musical styles. Her sweet and warm Alto/Mezzo Soprano voice matches songs mixing with Pop, Jazz, R&B et c. . She loves and is skilled at singing and writing melodic songs, for instance the one of Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Norah Jones, Sara Bareilles etc. She currently lives in LA.
