LACM’s Office of Student Financial Services is here to assist all incoming and current students with their billing, invoicing, and student employment needs. Student Financial Services regularly works with other departments across campus to guide students through the enrollment and matriculation process.


Tuition and Fees

For Diploma, Associate of Arts Degree, and Bachelor of Music Degree Students

LACM Student’s tuition for full-time students taking classes between 12-19 hours is $7,901.25. If a student elects to take below 12 credit hours (which is not considered full-time), the student will be billed $658.43 per credit hour taken. If a student elects to take more than 19 credit hours, the student will also be billed $658.43 credit hour above the 19 credit hours (this excludes elective classes). Tuition includes all required classes, LACM classroom books, and materials. Note that electives are subject to additional fees; any applicable fees will be listed on the Quarterly Registration Form for the quarter in which the elective is being offered.

Student Activity Fee

Student Activity Fees cover graduation ceremony tickets for yourself and one guest, your student ID, your annual membership to Grammy U, school clinics, parties, and other student events.

Book Fees

Book fees cover instructor-copyrighted printed curricula and general education course books. Additional supplemental books may be selected by the instructor on a quarterly basis to enhance the curriculum. All LACM book purchases may be made directly from the Student Store, while general education course books may be purchased online (i.e. Amazon, Half-Price Books, etc).

Payment Methods

Tuition and fees must be paid in the United States dollars. Payments may be made by personal check from a US bank, wire transfer, credit card, debit card, or cash. Credit cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
