Celio da Silveira has been teaching the Alexander Technique for performers since 2015, especially working with musicians and actors that demand a very precise connection between body and mind. Celio is a graduate of The Alexander Training Institute of Los Angeles; Angel Vianna University (Motor Reeducation through Dance), Brazil. Celio is an AmSAT-certified Alexander Technique Teacher, with a private practice in LA, teaching individual, groups, and leading workshops.

Celio is an accomplished singer and guitarist (especially Brazilian music), and he has studied classical, modern, and contemporary dance. His expertise is in helping performers mentally and physically, unleash the power that they still do not recognize in themselves.

In class, he uses activities, specific exercises, and procedures, that help students become more aware and conscious of their potential. Having a better balance of their body and mind, students will be able to optimally choose their strategies and goals.

He has been teaching Alexander Technique at LACM since 2018. Also at Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre in Hollywood for the last 10 years. Also a former teacher at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) and American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and other schools of music and acting.
