This privacy policy sets out how Los Angeles College of Music (LACM) uses and protects any information that you give LACM when you use this website. LACM is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Please note that you will only be able to access or browse LACM’s sites or register and enroll in LACM courses if you agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you choose not to provide certain information required to provide you with various products and services offered on LACM websites, then you may not be able to establish a user account or obtain certain products or services.

LACM is a higher education institution. In order for LACM to educate its students, both in class and online, and provide community services, LACM has lawful and essential need to collect, process, use, and maintain data of its students, employees, applicants, and others involved in its educational and community programs. The lawful bases include, without limitation, admission; registration; delivery of classroom, online, and study abroad education; grades; communications; employment; development; program analysis for improvements; and records retention.
