Emily Pfannschmidt is a twenty-year-old singer-songwriter in the Los Angeles area. Born and raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Emily grew up singing and began writing her own songs at twelve. She started playing guitar at fifteen. After spending two years at another college studying classical voice and composition, Emily “hopped on a plane to LAX”, moved nearly three thousand miles from her hometown, to pursue her passion at the Los Angeles College of Music. This bold move has proven to be a game-changer for Emily as she continues to grow as a musician and an artist. Heavily influenced by Coldplay, Beethoven, Ed Sheeran, and Hiatus Kaiyote, her music is a soulful blend of pop, jazz, and alternative genres with a hint of classical harmony.
