Notice Regarding Tours: In support of LACM effort’s to act cautiously against the spread of COVID-19, we will be suspending all on campus tours until further notice. LACM Admissions is offering virtual tours of campus and housing facilities, please use the available link to register for your virtual tour.

Campus tours will meet at the North Campus:

300 S. Fair Oaks Ave.
Pasadena, CA 91105.

The entrance is located near the intersection of Fair Oaks Ave and Del Mar Blvd.

Parking Information:

  • LACM does not have its own parking lot. There are street parking spots and nearby lots, but these may require card/cash/coins. Please do not park in the Goodwill store lot.
  • Public parking lot next to 333 South Fair Oaks Ave, Pasadena. Only accepts credit/debit cards. $4 per day.
  • Del Mar Station parking garage located at 230 South Raymond Ave, Pasadena. Accepts credit cards. $6 per day.

Housing Tours

To schedule a tour of LACM Housing Facility, The Cadence, please contact the Housing Department.

Due to Cadence occupancy, we ask that Housing Tours be scheduled 14 days in advance. We will try our best to accommodate requests for housing tours after the 14 day deadline.

Open House

Whether you are researching music colleges for the first time, or have already enrolled at LACM, Virutal Open House is the best way to experience our community in an up-close and personal way. Traditionally Open House takes place on-campus, however with the current state of COVID-19, LACM has chosen to hold all Admissions events online for the remainder of 2020. The silver lining to adjusting our event is that we are now able to share the LACM experience with far more students than we have in the past. Audition LIVE! The LACM Virtual Open House is your opportunity to audition live over Zoom. Perform the admissions requirements live and get professional feedback from your performance. If you decide to audition at a later date via upload, Open House is a great time to ask questions about the audition and application process.

China Audition Tour

LACM is going to China!

Parking & Transportation

Bus – The bus is located near stops on the Pasadena Rapid Transit System. Stops are approximately 2 blocks from campus.

Train – LACM is conveniently located near the Gold Line. Students can walk from the nearest stop to LACM in 2 minutes. The Metro also provides service to downtown LA, and connections to Santa Monica, LAX and more. Single Ride tickets are only $1.75 and the trains come every 7 minutes!
